American Airlines Introduces A New Business Loyalty Program

American Airlines has launched a new business reward program called AAdvantage Business.

Eligible organizations and their travelers will earn AAdvantage miles and extra Loyalty Points as part of the program when booking business travel on American's official website or app.

Furthermore, businesses who apply for and are approved for the CitiBusiness/AAdvantage Gold Select Mastercard will earn points more quickly. 

"American has built something that no one else offers," stated American Senior Vice President. "We would like to reward both the companies who do business with us and the traveler who's actually flying in the airplane seat."

"It's a win-win," President added. "We've designed a straightforward system that goes above and beyond in providing rewards and tools that benefit everyone."

As part of the new reward program, companies earn one AAdvantage mile for every $1 spent on qualified business travel, which can be redeemed for excursions, car rentals, Admirals Clubs lounges, and other employee experiences.

For every $1 spent, qualifying individual travelers receive one Loyalty Point, which goes toward their goal of becoming an AAdvantage member.

Another advantage of AAdvantage work is that it allows travel managers and their passengers to track work travels in one place and simply transition between business and personal travel when booking.

For more easy business travel management, program participants may also use online capabilities such as reporting, traveler management, duty of care, and more.
