Costco initially proposed a 178,000-square-foot site in 2021 but went bigger with its latest bid, citing The Fresno Bee.

The record-breaking Costco warehouse will have 32 petrol pumps, an automated vehicle wash, and over 900 parking slots.

The Costco warehouse is undergoing an environmental study before the corporation and city can proceed. Fresno's Planning & Development

Department released a project's draft environmental impact study and began a 45-day public comment process last week.
