JetBlue, which began transatlantic flights to London last year, seems to be enjoying the international experience. On Wednesday, the airline announced two new transatlantic flights.
Seasonal flights will depart from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City and Logan Airport in Boston for Dublin, Ireland and Edinburgh, Scotland.
They are the airline's fourth and fifth transatlantic destinations, joining London, Paris, and Amsterdam.
Flights from New York and Boston to Dublin will commence on March 13, while flights from New York to Edinburgh will begin on May 22. Travelers may begin booking flights immediately.
"The success of our transatlantic service demonstrates that customers don't have to choose between great service and low fares, but can have both with our award-winning Mint and core products," said JetBlue's CEO in a statement.
"Our summer seasonal flights to Dublin and Edinburgh will bring an entirely novel standard of service and affordable fares to these markets, which have been dominated for decades by high-fare legacy carriers."
In addition, the airline will launch a Boston-Paris service and add a second trip to Paris from JFK.
JetBlue's new year-round flights from Boston to Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport will begin on April 3, 2024, with a second daily route from JFK to CDG beginning on June 20, 2024.
Meanwhile, JetBlue is currently awaiting the outcome of its merger with Spirit Airlines in court.
