Southwest Airlines' 25% off base fares Christmas offer is looking like savings.
The airline says you must book certain Christmas and New Year's flights before 11:59 p.m. PT on Dec. 7 to get the offer.
The deal applies to one-way or round-trip Wanna Get Away, Wanna Get Away Plus, Anytime, or Business Select tickets on Dec. 24, 25, 31, or 1, 2023.
Southwest's website offers the coupon code “HOLIDAY25” for flights.
“We know the holiday season is a busy time and we're here to make your travel as seamless as possible,” southwest airlines' vice president of marketing and digital experience told.
Southwest is offering discounts on certain domestic flights between Chicago and Los Angeles, New York and Orlando, Boston and Las Vegas, and more.
Southwest has also made island hopping in Hawaii cheaper and simpler with $39 inter-island flights until the end of the year. Southwest flies year-round between the Big Island, Maui, Oahu, and Kauai.
Southwest is also adding USB A and USB C power connections on every seat, bigger overhead bins, and improved Wi-Fi.
Over the summer, the airline abolished travel credit expiry dates and allowed passengers to buy boarding upgrades online within 24 hours of departure.
Southwest's Wanna Get Away Plus pricing class, launched this year, provides extra flexibility and lets customers transfer qualified leftover trip credits.
Southwest offers free carry-on, personal, and two checked baggage with all prices. Flight changes are free on the airline.
