Taylor Swift fans used record amounts of data during the Eras Tour in North America

Taylor Swift's massive Eras Tour changes culture. From economic impact to a fun fan cam arms race to record concert film statistics.

Now we know those fans use massive amounts of data throughout the show: AT&T's network moved 28.9 terabytes of data on Taylor's biggest day of his three-day tour stop at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, according to exclusive data shared with The Verge.

The corporation believes that 1TB of data represents 200,000 photographs or 400 hours of video shared across its network; 28.9TB is astonishing.

According to AT&T, the typical Cowboys game day at the stadium moves 21 terabytes of data, the most of any stadium this year.

Swifties transported record quantities of AT&T data at other stadium tour stops: 23 terabytes at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, 12 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, and 8.6 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

Her incredibly rainy event at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts generated 4.8 gigabytes of data, a stadium record.

Her stop at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis transferred 6.6 terabytes of data on AT&T's network during its busiest day, using roughly 70% more volume per night than anywhere else in the last year.

Lots of glitter videos! (Don't come for me—I went to the Eras Tour in Chicago and my glitter content is in the 7.2TB of data consumed at Soldier Field in the graphic below.)
