United Airlines Announces Biggest Summer Flight Schedule For 2024

United Airlines revealed its biggest summer flight schedule ever for 2024, adding Brussels, Malaga, Reykjavik, Rome, and more.

To offer passengers more time to experience Europe, the airline said it will bring back nine of its most popular seasonal flights to Portugal, Italy, France, and Spain up to two months early. United's summer 2024 flights are on sale today.

“United has the most flights to the majority of places across the Atlantic and we're now giving our customers more choice and adaptability when planning their trips abroad,” United senior vice president stated.

“Whether customers are looking to travel during the tourist season or shoulder season, visit the most popular tourist attractions or discover a hidden gem, our network makes United a simple option for transatlantic travel,” Vice President said. 

With its new Newark Liberty International Airport service, the airline will be the sole US-Faro airline starting May 24. Four times a week, a Boeing 757-200 will fly.

First seasonal flights between Reykjavik and New York/Newark by United since summer 2022 begin on May 23. The daily service will use a Boeing 757-200. 

The company will also add flights to famous European cities including New York/Newark and Brussels on March 30 and Washington/Dulles and Rome on May 23.

On May 2, United will add daily Boeing 757-200 service to New York/Newark and Malaga. United will expand its Pacific network by more than 30% next summer with non-stop service to 15 destinations, including its new San Francisco-Manila and San Francisco-Beijing flights. 

The airline will add 10% to its Latin American itinerary. The airline is restarting many popular flights early to provide tourists additional alternatives to visit Europe, including:

Washington Dulles – Lisbon, Portugal – starting February 15 Washington Dulles – Barcelona, Spain – starting February 15 Washington Dulles – Rome, Italy – starting February 15

New York/Newark – Nice, France – starting March 30 Chicago/O'Hare – Rome, Italy – starting March 30 Chicago O'Hare – Milan, Italy – starting March 30

New York/Newark – Naples, Italy – starting April 5 New York/Newark – Malaga – starting May 2 San Francisco – Rome, Italy – starting May 2
