American Airlines Expanding Football and Tech Flights

In February and March, American Airlines increased flights to connect football fans with their teams and techies with a major mobile communications trade show.

Additional flights and seats to Las Vegas' Harry Reid International Airport are available from February 8 to 12. American will fly from John F. Kennedy International Airport using the larger Airbus A321T.

Select A321T flights to the Los Angeles International Airport will provide one-stop lie-flat premium connectivity to intercontinental destinations such as New York and Boston Logan.

On February 8-9 and February 12, American will operate daily round-trip Boeing 787 flights between Miami International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport.

On peak days, the airline will give over 150 lie-flat tickets to and from Las Vegas. Approved itinerary purchasers may enjoy a pre-flight experience that includes premium lounges and food and drink.

"Whether you're looking to get the latest on cellphone technology or celebrating your team playing in the final match of the season, we know nothing beats seeing it live," the managing director of the American company said.

For tech-savvy travelers, American has offered flights to Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport in Spain for the 2024 Mobile World Congress.

The flights supplement the daily year-round service between Philadelphia and Barcelona, which debuted during the conference.

"With more than 6,000 additional seats entering and leaving of Las Vegas and Barcelona, we're adding improved ways to connect fans and aficionados to all the action," stated the Director of Marketing.
